Kumawu Traditional Council has fined MP for invoked curses against the citizens of Drobonso


The traditional Authorities of kumawu and Drobonso has fined the member of parliament for Sekyere Afram Plains constituency Hon Alex Adomako Mensah and his supporters with an amount of Ghc 10,000 including sheep and schnapps for have gone contrary against Otumfuo’s directives on ban of course on the land.









It recalled that, on Friday 26 June this year, the mp together with supporters of NDC in the constituency invoked curses against any citizen who will be travel from their destination to Drobonso and it communities to registered their names in the ongoing voter’s registration exercise to be involved in lorry accident.





Moreover, the traditional authorities of both kumawu and Drobonso invited the mp to chief palace where he did confirmed and apologized for his misconduct.





After paid the fine, the traditional authorities accepted his plead and have reversed the curses at river Drobon And Tano.





When speaking to the chief of Drobonso, Nana Dwamena Dankwah Dwubisiaw II, after he held meeting with both parties,NDC and NPP and security agencies he urged the member of parliament and his supporters of NDC and members of Npp to stay away from any activities that will generate chaos in the community ahead of December 7, general election.





He urged both mp and the Dce to used their office to lobby for developmental projects in the area of road networks which the Dce has already started from Drobonso to Dawia, Kamakama, Issakura, Bosomfour and other communities.





He used the opportunity to appealed to the government to help establish tertiary institutions within Ejisu, Juaben, effiduase to Drobonso to help students from Senior High School to further their education.
