Kumawu MP Set to Commission Newly Renovated 6-Unit AME Zion Primary School at Nkwanta on Monday

The Member of Parliament for Kumawu, Hon. Ernest Yaw Anim, is scheduled to commission the newly renovated 6-unit classroom block of the AME Zion Primary School at Nkwanta on Monday, 24th November 2025, marking yet another significant milestone in his commitment to improving educational infrastructure across the constituency.
The renovation works, undertaken as part of the MP’s broader agenda to enhance teaching and learning environments, have fully transformed the once-dilapidated school block into a modern, safe, and conducive facility for pupils and teachers. The refurbished structure now features improved roofing, strengthened classroom partitions, enhanced flooring, adequate ventilation, upgraded furniture, and a generally revitalized environment designed to support quality basic education.
According to the office of the MP, the commissioning ceremony will bring together key stakeholders including traditional leaders, officials from the Ghana Education Service, community leaders, PTA representatives, as well as residents of Nkwanta who have long anticipated the project’s completion. The event is expected to highlight the importance the MP places on education as a cornerstone of community development.
Hon. Ernest Yaw Anim, since assuming office, has consistently prioritized the welfare of schools within the constituency, channeling resources into infrastructure upgrades, supply of educational materials, and community engagement initiatives aimed at improving literacy and academic performance.
The commissioning of the renovated AME Zion Primary School adds to his growing list of interventions aimed at ensuring every child in Kumawu has access to a conducive learning environment.
