Kumasi food, foundation and Atlantic, food foundation, donate to the ,general public

The Kumasi food foundation in collaboration with Atlantic food foundation today has donated food items worth Ghc40,000 to the residents of Nkenkensu in Offinso South district of the Ashanti Region.

The items, among other things, were donated to widows, school children, persons with disabilities, and other vulnerable people within the community.

The donation was sponsored by the two foundations, specifically KUMASI FOOD FOUNDATION and ATLANTIC FOOD FOUNDATION.

The donation led by Evangelist Emmanuel Addo donated electrical appliances, text books, stationaries, clothes, shoes, school uniforms, cash and other items to the residents.

According to the General Manager of the foundation Evangelist Emmanuel Addo, the donation was part of their contribution towards showing love and care for the poor.

“This donation comes from our heart, we are here to tell you we love you guys and will continue to support you from our heart especially the school children so you will grow up to become responsible citizens,” Evangelist Addo said.

Opanin Nkrumah who received the items on behalf of the residents commended the Kumasi food foundation and Atlantic food foundation for the kind gesture.

“On behalf of the residents of Nkenkensu, I wish to say thank you very much to Kumasi food foundation and Atlantic food foundation. May God Bless you for your kind gesture”.

“Infact we are happy seeing you here, interacting with the widows and the school children alone gives them hope that they can also grow up to become somebody in our society,” he added.
