“Kofi Job Constructions Refutes Reports Linking Company to Kumawu Accident”

Kofi Job Constructions has strongly refuted claims linking the company to the fatal road accident that occurred at Kumawu in the Ashanti Region, which resulted in the deaths of four people on Saturday, January 17, 2026.

In a statement released on Wednesday, January 21, the company clarified that it is not undertaking any construction work in the Kumawu area and that none of its trucks operate on that route. Reports suggesting that one of its vehicles was involved in the incident were described as “completely false and misleading.”

The tragic accident involved a tipper truck that reportedly lost control and collided with a container structure, causing the instant death of four persons. Following the incident, misinformation circulated suggesting that the vehicle belonged to Kofi Job Constructions.

Addressing these claims, the company emphasized that the truck involved was not part of its fleet and urged the public to refrain from spreading unverified information that could harm the company’s reputation.

While distancing itself from the incident, Kofi Job Constructions extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and sympathized with all those affected by the tragedy. The company also called on relevant authorities to conduct a thorough investigation to ascertain the facts and identify those responsible for the accident.

Kofi Job Constructions concluded by appealing to the public and media practitioners to ensure responsible reporting and to verify information before publication, emphasizing the importance of accuracy and accountability in sensitive matters such as road accidents.
