In a remarkable act of generosity, renowned contractor Kofi Job and his wife, Dr. Esther Gyebi, presented a generous donation of GH¢20,000 to 16-year-old Maybel Nyarko, a bright but financially challenged Senior High School (SHS) student. The emotional presentation took place on Saturday at OTEC FM, where the couple expressed their support for Maybel’s educational journey.
Maybel, a dedicated Home Economics student, had initially received financial assistance from the couple when she enrolled in SHS. With their help, she was able to purchase items from her school’s prospectus. As a heartfelt thank you, Maybel baked and presented her first practical cake to the couple, an act that deeply moved them.
“It was such a thoughtful gesture from Maybel to bake us her first practical cake,” said Kofi Job. “It’s not every day that we see such gratitude from a young person. We decided to show our appreciation for her kindness with this donation, which we hope will ease her financial worries as she continues her studies.”
