Kofi Gyebi Job and Wife Dr. Esther Okyere Gyebi Donate ₵300,000 to Support Cancer Patients
Renowned philanthropists Mr. Kofi Gyebi Job and his wife, Dr. Esther Okyere Gyebi, have once again demonstrated their unwavering commitment to humanitarian service by donating ₵300,000 (3 billion old cedis) to support five cancer patients and several others in urgent need of medical care.
The donation, made through the Kofi Job Foundation, is aimed at easing the overwhelming financial burden faced by vulnerable patients who require immediate treatment but lack the means to fund it. Cancer treatment remains one of the most expensive medical interventions in Ghana, leaving many families distressed and powerless. The couple’s timely gesture has therefore brought renewed hope to beneficiaries and their families.
The presentation was made on behalf of the couple by Kwame Agyenim Boateng, also known as Nana Kokooto, who serves as the Public Relations Officer for the foundation. He noted that the beneficiaries were carefully selected based on medical urgency and financial need, ensuring that the support reached individuals whose lives depended on swift intervention.
According to him, the donation reflects the couple’s long-standing belief that no patient should lose their life simply because they cannot afford medical treatment. He expressed deep gratitude to Mr. and Mrs. Gyebi for their continuous sacrifices and dedication to saving lives, describing them as a beacon of hope for many struggling families.
The beneficiaries, together with their relatives, expressed profound appreciation for the life-saving intervention, noting that the donation has restored their confidence and given them a fighting chance at recovery.
