KNUST LECTURER CHARGED WITH KIDNAPPING HIS WIFE GRANTED BAIL

 

A Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), charged for kidnapping his wife has been granted a bail of GHS300,000 with one surety to be justified.

A Kumasi High Court, presided over by His Lordship Justice Daniel Obeng granted bail to the embattled Lecturer after his lawyers prayed the court.
He is to reappear on October 17, 2022.
Suspect, Dr. Wilberforce Aggrey, a Senior lecturer at the Department of Petroleum at KNUST has been charged over the disappearance of his wife, Rhodaline Amoah-Darko on August 30, 2021.
In his statement to the police, Dr. Wilberforce Aggrey told the police that his wife failed to come home on the said date. He continued that he only slept with his kids and his three teaching assistants who are witnesses in the case.
Dramatically, all the three teaching assistants of the suspects have contradicted the statement made by the suspect to the police.
