Kejetia Evangelism Team Donates to Orphanage Homes in Ashanti Region to Mark Easter

The Kejetia Market Evangelism Team has reached out to four orphanage homes across the Ashanti Region with donations worth thousands of Ghana cedis, as part of their Easter outreach initiative aimed at spreading love, hope, and compassion to the less fortunate.

As part of the donation, the team presented bags of rice, cooking oil, canned sardines, soft drinks, toilet rolls, washing powder, used clothing, and envelopes of cash to support the operations of the selected homes. The beneficiaries included the Charley Care Foundation at Kuntanase-Toanfom, Life is Jesus Foundation at Ejisu-Serwaakrom, Matilda Foundation at Kotwi-Nkoransa, and Patrick Foundation at Kona.

The presentation ceremony, held at Kejetia Dubai, attracted traders, pastors, and members of the public who gathered to witness the kind gesture. Addressing attendees, Evangelist C.K. Donkor, popularly known as Sofo Kwame, highlighted the reason behind their outreach.“Easter is about sacrifice and love. These donations are our way of sharing the message of Jesus with children who often feel forgotten. They deserve to feel valued and supported,” he said.

He also encouraged churches, corporate organizations, and individuals to remember the needs of orphaned and vulnerable children throughout the year.

President of the Kumasi Evangelism Team, Nana Kwasi Prempeh, added that acts of giving should not be limited to festive seasons.“You don’t need to have plenty before you give. True kindness flows from the heart. Let us all make giving a daily habit,” he said.

Receiving the items on behalf of the orphanages, Reverend Kwaku Duah of the Patrick Foundation expressed gratitude to the Kejetia Evangelism Team.“ This donation has come at just the right time. It will greatly assist us in meeting the children’s basic needs. We thank you sincerely and pray for God’s blessings upon your team,” he stated.

The Kejetia Market Evangelism Team’s Easter outreach underscores their ongoing commitment to demonstrating Christian values through charitable actions and community support.
