Juaso SHTS 1994 Year Group Donates GH¢140,000 to Support School’s 40th Anniversary Projects

Juaso Senior High Technical School (SHTS) has received a significant boost for its ongoing development initiatives and 40th Anniversary celebrations, following a generous donation of GH¢140,000 from its 1994 Year Group. The donation, presented during a special ceremony as part of the anniversary activities, brought together old students, school authorities, invited guests, and community members to celebrate four decades of quality education at the institution.

Speaking to the media after the presentation, Mr. Kissi Asare, leader of the 1994 Year Group, highlighted the group’s unwavering commitment to giving back to the school that laid the foundation for their academic and professional success. He emphasized that Juaso SHTS continues to face challenges related to infrastructure and learning resources, which require the collective support of past students.

“Supporting our Alma Mater is not just about financial contributions; it is about ensuring that future generations of Juaso SHTS students have the opportunities and facilities to thrive,” Mr. Asare stated. He further appealed to other old students across Ghana and the diaspora to emulate the 1994 Year Group’s spirit of giving, stressing that the school’s future largely depends on the involvement and contributions of its alumni.

Members of the 1994 Year Group, including Madam Victoria Ampofowaa Twumasi, the Group Administrator, and Mr. Osei Ampofo, also addressed current students, urging them to remain focused on their studies. They encouraged the students to take their academic work seriously and pursue excellence, emphasizing that dedication and discipline are key to achieving personal and professional ambitions.

The alumni also charged the school management to ensure that the donated funds are used strictly for their intended purposes. They assured that they remain ready to return and support the school whenever the need arises.

The school management, in turn, expressed profound appreciation to the 1994 Year Group for their generous contribution and continued commitment to the school’s growth. The donation is expected to support various development projects, further enhancing the learning environment and infrastructure at Juaso SHTS as the institution commemorates its milestone 40th anniversary. This initiative underscores the pivotal role alumni play in the sustained success and development of their former schools, setting a lasting example for others to contribute meaningfully to their communities.
