Jofel Catering Services Honoured at 2025 Ayekoo Heroes Awards; Vice President Felicia Danquah Urges Youth to Embrace Hard Work

Jofel Catering Services was among 24 distinguished personalities, including clergy, chiefs, entrepreneurs, and community leaders, honoured at the 2025 Ayekoo Heroes Awards, organised by the Divine Key Believers Network International in partnership with Prince Hampel World Outreach (UK) and Divine World International Ministries (UK). The ceremony celebrated individuals and organisations that have demonstrated excellence, leadership, and moral influence in their respective fields.
Receiving the award, Vice President Madam Felicia Danquah used the platform to appeal to Ghanaian youth to prioritise hard work, discipline, and perseverance over the pursuit of quick and unearned wealth. She warned that the increasing desire for shortcuts often results in disappointment, crime, and lost opportunities.

“Hard work never fails. It is the foundation on which every lasting achievement is built,” Madam Danquah emphasised. She encouraged young people to cultivate commitment, perseverance, and consistency, stressing that genuine success comes from sustained effort, honesty, and integrity.

Madam Danquah also called on parents to take an active role in monitoring the behaviour and associations of their children, highlighting the negative influence of peers and social media on the youth. She urged parents to provide guidance, mentorship, and environments that promote discipline, responsibility, and productive habits.

Her remarks reflected the overarching theme of the awards ceremony, which celebrated integrity, moral values, and excellence across multiple sectors. Other honourees, including veteran journalist Rev. Naana Hayford and Prophet Peter Amankwah, used the occasion to emphasise the importance of truthfulness, ethical conduct, and God-centred living in personal and professional endeavours.

Rev. Naana Hayford, a veteran journalist, radio and television presenter, and celebrated Ghanaian actress, urged media practitioners to uphold honesty, integrity, and professionalism at all times. She noted that credibility forms the backbone of journalism and that ethical practice is essential for building public trust.

Prophet Peter Amankwah, Head Pastor of Blessing House Pentecostal Ministry at Gyenase–Kumasi, encouraged fellow pastors to lead Christlike lives, avoid unethical practices, and remain committed to genuine service, reminding clergy that true reward comes from God, not material wealth.

Madam Danquah expressed gratitude to the organisers for recognising the contributions of Jofel Catering Services, describing the award as both an acknowledgment of past achievements and a motivation to continue delivering excellence while supporting social development initiatives.

The 2025 Ayekoo Heroes Awards honoured a total of 24 personalities, including traditional chiefs, clergy, entrepreneurs, and community leaders, highlighting their outstanding contributions to society. The event reinforced the message that hard work, integrity, and ethical conduct remain the true pathways to sustainable success in Ghana.
