Hon. Yaw Frimpong Addo,deputy minister for Food and Agriculture also Member of Parliament (MP) for Manso Adubia Constituency, has donated items worth thousands of Ghana cedis to the inmates of the Heart Smiles Organization Children’s Home at Manso Akropong in the
Amansie west district of the Ashanti Region.
The donation form part of the MP’s annual benevolent activities for vulnerables in the constituency.
The items include bags of rice, bags of sachet water, soft drinks, cartons of soft drinks, Cooking Oil among others.
Speaking on behalf of the MP after the short presentation,Manso Adubia Constituency NPP Chairman,Mr Kofi Acheampong asked the people in higher positions and well-to-do to always support motherless and fatherless in the society.
Chairman Kofi Acheampong therefore called for the need to support vulnerable in the society.
On his part, Manso Adubia constituency NPP Organizer, Peter Attah Asenso also prayed for continuous divine protection for the inmates of the Heart Smiles organization childrens Home.
He also took the opportunity to urged other kind benevolent and individuals to come to the aid of the orphanage to take care of the children.
Some of the workers and orphans who received the items thanked the constituency lawmaker for her kind gesture and prayed to God to reward him abundantly.
She said the items would go a long way to help the orphanage address some of the teething challenges confronting it.
They pleaded with other benevolent individuals, institutions and corporate bodies to follow the footsteps of Hon. Yaw Frimpong Addo.
