Hon. Yaw Frimpong Addo, MP for Manso Adubia Constituency, to Organize Free Skill Training in Soap Making, Baking, and Beauty Care from 10th to 12th September 2024

In an effort to boost self-employment and entrepreneurship within the Manso Adubia Constituency, Hon. Yaw Frimpong Addo, the Member of Parliament (MP) for the area, has announced a free skill training program for his constituents. Scheduled to take place from 10th to 12th September 2024, the training will cover a wide range of skills in the areas of cosmetics production, baking, and beauty care services.

This initiative is part of the MP’s ongoing commitment to improving livelihoods in the constituency by equipping participants with practical skills that can immediately be used to start small businesses. The skill training program will provide participants with the opportunity to learn how to produce liquid soap, hair moisturizers, hair shampoo, hair pomade, as well as a variety of baking skills including making, meat pies, short biscuits, rock buns, sugar bread, and butter bread Additionally, participants will gain expertise in, pedicure, manicure, and the application of  eye lashes, all of which are in high demand in beauty services.

Speaking about the upcoming program, Hon. Frimpong Addo explained, “This initiative is designed to offer a practical solution to unemployment in our constituency. By learning these skills, participants can start their own businesses, become financially independent, and even employ others. This will not only empower individuals but also strengthen our local economy.”

Targeting Youth and Women

The program is open to all constituents, with a particular focus on women and the youth. According to the MP, many people in the constituency, especially young women, lack the financial means to pursue formal education or entrepreneurial ventures.
