Hon. Yaw Frimpong Addo Assures Constituents of Continued Support Despite Health Setback

The Member of Parliament for the Manso Adubia Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Hon. Yaw Frimpong Addo, has reassured constituents of his unwavering commitment to their welfare and development, despite recent health challenges that have limited his public engagements.

Speaking in a telephone interview, the MP dismissed claims that he had neglected his constituents following the 2024 general elections. He explained that his reduced public visibility was due to illness, a situation he said is well known to party executives, traditional authorities, and other key stakeholders within the constituency.

Hon. Frimpong Addo indicated that his health is steadily improving and expressed optimism that he will soon fully resume his parliamentary and constituency duties. He stressed that his temporary absence should not be misconstrued as a lack of concern for the people of Manso Adubia, noting that his office has remained active and responsive throughout the period.

According to the MP, his administration continues to work closely with relevant stakeholders to address critical challenges confronting the constituency, particularly in the areas of education, healthcare delivery, road infrastructure, and sports development. He described these sectors as central to his development agenda and long-term vision for the constituency’s growth.

To demonstrate his continued commitment to education, Hon. Frimpong Addo highlighted recent support extended to more than 400 senior high school students across the constituency. The assistance, which was presented on his behalf, he said, reflects his dedication to promoting quality education and supporting students to achieve their academic aspirations.

He further reaffirmed his resolve to provide effective representation and inclusive development, describing his mandate as a sacred responsibility entrusted to him by the people. The MP appealed to constituents for patience and understanding as he completes his recovery, assuring them of his continued focus on delivering meaningful development and responsive leadership.

Hon. Frimpong Addo’s assurance comes amid growing public scrutiny of the performance and accessibility of elected officials after elections, a discourse he believes should be guided by fairness, accuracy, and respect for individual circumstances.
