Hon. Isaac Kwame Asiamah Pays Courtesy Call on Nyinahinhene Dr Nana Amanpene Twum Boateng I

Former Minister for Youth and Sports and former Member of Parliament for Atwima Mponua, Hon. Isaac Kwame Asiamah, has paid a courtesy call on the Nyinahinhene, Dr Nana Amanpene Twum Boateng II, to express his appreciation for the traditional leadership’s support during his long years of public service.

The visit, which took place at the Nyinahin Traditional Palace, was to thank the paramount chief for the guidance, cooperation and goodwill he enjoyed throughout his more than 20-year tenure as the Member of Parliament for Atwima Mponua. Hon. Asiamah acknowledged that the support of Nana Amanpene Twum Boateng II and the traditional council was instrumental in the developmental progress recorded in the constituency over the years.

Hon. Asiamah was accompanied by Hon. Isaac Kofi Marfo and Wofa Marfo. During the interaction, the former minister reflected on a number of development projects initiated during his time in office and emphasized the importance of continuity to ensure that such initiatives are sustained and completed for the benefit of the people.

He stressed that development is a collective responsibility that must transcend political transitions, adding that his commitment to the growth and welfare of Atwima Mponua remains firm even after leaving Parliament.

In his response, the Nyinahinhene, Dr Nana Amanpene Twum Boateng II, expressed gratitude to Hon. Asiamah for the visit, describing it as a mark of respect and continued concern for the constituency. He commended the former MP for maintaining strong ties with the traditional leadership and for his contributions to the area’s development.

Nana Amanpene Twum Boateng II reiterated the shared vision of peace, unity and development for Atwima Mponua and assured Hon. Asiamah of the traditional authority’s readiness to collaborate with all stakeholders to advance education, infrastructure and socio-economic growth.
