He explained that the decision to launch the “Apagya Award” was inspired by the impressive performance of students in the 2025 competition.

As part of this year’s recognition, Hon. Frank Yeboah presented a cash prize of One Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH¢1,000) to Amoako Paul, a student of Barekuma D/A JHS, who was adjudged the overall best student of the 2025 Frank Yeboah Spelling Bee Competition held in Amakye Bare community. He explained that this gesture was meant to celebrate the dedication, hard work, and exceptional skills demonstrated by students in the competition.

Hon. Frank Yeboah emphasized that the Apagya Award would not only reward academic excellence but also encourage other students to aim higher and take their studies seriously. He expressed hope that the award would foster healthy competition among schools within the constituency and cultivate a culture of learning and academic achievement.

The students who received recognition expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Frank Yeboah for the thoughtful gesture. They described the initiative as a source of encouragement and motivation, pledging to continue working hard and excel in their studies. Many noted that the recognition had boosted their confidence and strengthened their resolve to pursue academic and professional success in the future.

Hon.
