The Member of Parliament for Atwima Nwabiagya North Constituency, Hon. Frank Yeboah, has once again demonstrated his commitment to education and community development by donating GH¢20,000 to the J.A. Kufuor TVET and STEM Senior High School at Dabaa to kickstart the construction of a modern toilet and bathroom facility for students.

The gesture follows an appeal made by the Headmaster of the school, Mr. Comax Takyi, who lamented the inadequate sanitation facilities as one of the major challenges facing the newly established institution. The donation, according to the Headmaster, comes at a crucial time when the school is preparing to open for the new academic year and admit its first batch of students on the 18th of October, 2025.

In a brief ceremony held at the school premises, Hon. Frank Yeboah commended the management for their dedication and promised to continue supporting the school’s development. He explained that providing a safe and healthy environment for students is essential to effective learning and personal growth. The MP noted that his support to J.A. Kufuor TVET and STEM SHS aligns with his broader vision of improving educational infrastructure across the constituency.

Hon. Yeboah described the J.A. Kufuor TVET and STEM Senior High School as a legacy institution built under the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government to honour former President John Agyekum Kufuor, a proud native of Dabaa. He stressed the importance of sustaining that legacy through quality education and decent facilities that reflect the name it bears. He further encouraged the newly admitted students to study hard and make the most of the opportunities the school provides, assuring that his office will continue to lend a helping hand whenever necessary.

The Headmaster, Mr. Comax Takyi, expressed deep gratitude to the MP for the timely support, describing it as a great relief to the school’s management. He said the intervention would help provide students with decent toilet and bathroom facilities, which are essential to maintaining hygiene and dignity on campus. According to him, the donation arrived at a critical moment when the school’s preparations for reopening were being hindered by the lack of adequate sanitation facilities.

Mr. Takyi thanked Hon. Frank Yeboah for his dedication to the welfare of students and staff and assured him that the funds would be used judiciously to complete the project within schedule. He also appealed to other stakeholders and philanthropists to emulate the MP’s example by contributing to the growth and progress of the school.

The J.A. Kufuor TVET and STEM Senior High School remains one of the most promising educational institutions in the Atwima Nwabiagya North Constituency, designed to promote technical, vocational, and science-based learning among Ghanaian youth. Hon. Frank Yeboah’s intervention has been widely applauded by residents and education enthusiasts in Dabaa and its surrounding communities as a timely and commendable effort toward improving conditions for quality education.
