Hon. Frank Yeboah Donates Dining Hall Bowls and Streetlight Bulbs to Ease Dining Hall Challenges
The Member of Parliament for Atwima Nwabiagya North, Hon. Frank Yeboah, has donated fifty dining hall serving bowls and five streetlight bulbs to the J.A. Kufuor STEM Technical School at Dabaa in the Ashanti Region to help ease persistent dining hall challenges and improve the overall welfare of students.

The donation follows concerns raised by school authorities over the inadequate number of serving bowls available to cater for the growing student population. Prior to the intervention, the school had only ten serving bowls to serve a population of more than one thousand students. This situation often resulted in long delays during meal times, with students missing valuable instructional hours. The provision of the additional dining hall bowls is expected to ensure timely meal service, reduce congestion at the dining hall, and allow teaching and learning activities to proceed smoothly.

In addition to the dining hall items, Hon. Frank Yeboah also donated five streetlight bulbs to strengthen the school’s lighting system. The lighting support is aimed at improving visibility on campus at night and helping to deter criminal activities, thereby enhancing the safety and security of students and staff.

During the presentation, the Member of Parliament took time to interact with the students and encouraged them to remain focused on their academic work. He wished them a Merry Christmas and advised them to take good care of themselves as they return home for the holidays. He urged them not to abandon their books during the vacation but to continue studying diligently in order to achieve their future goals. He further called on them to live exemplary lives during the Christmas break, reminding them that they are future leaders of the country whose conduct should reflect discipline and responsibility.

Hon. Frank Yeboah also listened to other challenges confronting the school and assured the management of his commitment to support the institution within his capacity as a Member of Parliament.

On his part, the Headmaster of J.A. Kufuor STEM Technical School, Mr. Takyi Cosmax, expressed his heartfelt appreciation to Hon. Frank Yeboah for the timely donation. He noted that the items had come at a crucial time and would significantly reduce the time spent on dining activities, thereby promoting effective teaching and learning.

Mr. Cosmax assured the Member of Parliament that the items would be used strictly for their intended purposes to serve the best interest of the students. He also appealed to Hon. Frank Yeboah to engage the contractor handling an ongoing school project to return to site and complete the work. He further highlighted other pressing needs of the school, including the lack of marker boards, classroom furniture, and other essential teaching and learning materials.
