Hon. Felicia Adjei Leads Constituency Agenda on Presidential Visit to Japan

The Honourable Felicia Adjei, Member of Parliament for Kintampo South, has joined President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and a government delegation on an official visit to Japan, where she is championing both national and constituency development priorities.

The high-level assignment is focused on strengthening Ghana-Japan relations, particularly in the areas of infrastructure, investment, and job creation. The delegation has engaged with top Japanese organisations, including TICAD Yokohama and the Organisation for Public-Private Partnerships (OPPS), to explore opportunities that align with Ghana’s development agenda.

Hon. Felicia Adjei, while expressing her commitment to the mission, stressed that she is also using the platform to directly lobby Japanese companies to invest in Kintampo South. “I’m excited to be part of this envoy leading the country’s development. Through this visit, I am also working on collaborating with some Japanese companies to extend development to my constituency, Kintampo,” she said.

She noted that key issues affecting her constituents — such as migration, youth unemployment, and inadequate access to social amenities — are central to her discussions with potential partners in Japan. “Migration, youth unemployment, and access to basic needs have been our major challenges. I am also in talks with some Japanese companies for direct collaboration to support development projects in my constituency,” she added.

Her participation in the Japan visit underscores her dual commitment to national growth and grassroots development. Widely respected for her hands-on approach, Hon. Adjei continues to position herself as a strong advocate for better living conditions, job opportunities, and essential services in Kintampo South.
