Hon. Ernest Yaw Anim Donates to Sekyere Kumawu Muslim Community, Calls for Unity and Development

 

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Sekyere Kumawu, Hon. Ernest Yaw Anim, has extended a generous donation to the Muslim community in the Sekyere Kumawu District as part of their Ramadan fasting.

 

The donation included 30 bags of rice, 10 boxes of cooking oil, 5 boxes of mackerel, and 3 cartons of Milo, along with a cash donation of GH¢10,000 to support the faithful in observing the sacred month of Ramadan.

Presenting the items, Hon. Anim emphasized the need for peace, unity, and collective support for the district’s development. He called on the people of Sekyere Kumawu to rally behind any individual who will be appointed as District Chief Executive (DCE) by President John Dramani Mahama to ensure continuous growth.

“It is time for us to bury our political differences and work together for the progress of Sekyere Kumawu. Development thrives in a peaceful and united environment, and we must all contribute towards the growth of our district,” he stated.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the Muslim community, District Imam Ustaz Abdul Rahim Nasirudeen Alhassan expressed profound gratitude to the MP for his kind gesture. He acknowledged the importance of such support during Ramadan and prayed for Allah’s blessings upon Hon. Anim.

The donation reaffirms the MP’s commitment to promoting social inclusion, religious harmony, and development within the district, ensuring that all communities benefit from his leadership.
