The Assembly Member for Manso Takorasi in the Amansie South District of the Ashanti Region, Hon. Dominic Bonsu, popularly known as “Tupac,” is set to facilitate the release of 50 inmates from Kumasi Central Prison on April 16, 2026, in a significant humanitarian intervention aimed at restoring hope and dignity to affected individuals.
The initiative, which forms part of his broader commitment to social welfare and community development, is expected to bring relief not only to the beneficiaries but also to their families, many of whom have long awaited such an opportunity for reunion and reintegration.
Hon. Bonsu, a businessman and philanthropist, has over the years distinguished himself through a series of impactful interventions across his electoral area and beyond. His consistent support for market women in Manso Takorasi has provided vital financial assistance to help sustain and expand their businesses, thereby improving livelihoods at the grassroots level.
