Hon. DCE Benjamin Marfo Celebrates Eid Mubarak with Manso Adubia Muslim Community, Donates GH₵3,000 and Pledges Developmental Support

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Amansie South, Hon. Benjamin Marfo, on Sunday, June 8, 2025, joined the Muslim community in Manso Adubia to celebrate this year’s Eid-ul-Adha, also known as Eid Mubarak. The DCE’s presence at the prayer grounds was not only a show of solidarity but a reaffirmation of his commitment to religious harmony and inclusive development in the district.

Addressing the gathering after prayers, Hon. Marfo congratulated the Muslim faithful for successfully observing the sacred period of fasting and sacrifice. He acknowledged the significant role the Muslim community continues to play in promoting peace, unity, and development in Amansie South.

“As we mark this holy festival, I urge you to continue to uphold the virtues of peace, love, and mutual respect,” Hon. Marfo stated. “I humbly request your continuous prayers and support in my role as the District Chief Executive. It is through our collective effort that we can build a prosperous and united Amansie South.”

The DCE emphasized the need for continued cooperation between Muslims and people of other religious faiths in the district. He noted that peaceful coexistence was a vital foundation for progress and pledged the Assembly’s readiness to support all faith-based communities equally in their development efforts.

In a practical demonstration of his commitment, Hon. Marfo made a personal donation of GH₵3,000 to the Manso Adubia Muslim community to support their ongoing and future development initiatives. The donation was warmly received by the leadership of the Muslim community, who expressed their profound gratitude for the timely gesture.

Hon. Marfo further assured the Muslim leadership that under his watch, the District Assembly will explore opportunities to support key development projects in Muslim-dominated communities, particularly in the areas of education, water, sanitation, and infrastructure.

The celebration, which brought together hundreds of Muslim faithful from across Manso Adubia and surrounding communities, was marked with prayers, cultural displays, and messages of goodwill. The event also served as a platform for interfaith engagement, with representatives from other religious groups present to show their support.

Hon. Benjamin Marfo concluded his message with a heartfelt Eid greeting to all Muslims in the district, saying, “Happy Eid Mubarak to our cherished Muslim brothers and sisters. May this season of sacrifice bring us all divine blessings, peace, and prosperity.”

Long live Amansie South District!
Long live Ghana!
