Hon. Daniel Kwaku Mensah has expressed heartfelt gratitude to God and all supporters following his election as the 2nd Vice President of the National Association of Local Authorities of Ghana (NALAG). Marking a one-week thanksgiving since this significant achievement, Hon. Mensah took the opportunity to reflect on the journey, acknowledge key supporters, and outline his vision for the future.
In a statement issued during the thanksgiving celebration, Hon. Mensah attributed his success to divine blessings, perseverance, and the unwavering support of his family, friends, and colleagues. He extended special thanks to members of NALAG, emphasizing that their trust in his leadership is a profound honor.
“I humbly express my deepest thanks to God Almighty for His blessings and favor that have led to my election. This journey has been one of faith, perseverance, and immense support from so many people,” he stated.
Hon. Mensah also acknowledged the collective efforts that contributed to this achievement, stressing that it was a shared milestone for all stakeholders committed to advancing local governance in Ghana.
“This achievement is not mine alone but a testament to the strength of our collective efforts. Together, we can make significant strides in addressing the needs of our communities and shaping a brighter future for all,” he added.

As part of the thanksgiving, Hon. Mensah urged the general public and NALAG members to offer prayers for the newly elected executives who were officially sworn into office last week. Hon. Mensah also appealed for prayers for Ghana’s upcoming national elections, underscoring the importance of maintaining the country’s legacy of peaceful electoral processes.
