The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Amansie South, Hon. Benjamin Marfo, has called on final-year students of Manso Adubia Senior High School (SHS) to remain disciplined and focused as they sit for the ongoing 2025/2026 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).

Hon. Marfo, accompanied by officials from the Amansie South District Assembly and the Education Directorate, visited the school earlier today to monitor the smooth conduct of the examinations and to motivate candidates, particularly those writing the Integrated Science paper.

In his address to the students, the DCE encouraged them to approach the examinations with confidence and integrity, stressing that discipline was key to their academic success. “This examination marks a defining moment in your lives. Remain disciplined, stay focused, and give your best effort. Avoid any temptation of malpractice, as your future depends on the hard work you put in today,” Hon. Marfo urged.

He further reminded the students that their performance would not only shape their individual futures but also uplift the image of the Amansie South District. He expressed optimism that with dedication and determination, the candidates could achieve excellent results.

The visit also provided the opportunity for the DCE to interact with the headmaster, teaching staff, and invigilators of Manso Adubia SHS. Discussions centered on the challenges facing the school, including infrastructural constraints, availability of learning resources, and strategies to maintain discipline among students. Hon. Marfo assured the management of the school of the Assembly’s continuous collaboration with the Education Directorate to address pressing needs and improve the quality of education across the district.

Officials from the District Education Directorate who were part of the visit also encouraged the candidates to stay calm, focused, and well-prepared for their subsequent papers. They emphasized the importance of avoiding examination malpractice, highlighting its consequences on both the individual and the school.

Teachers and students warmly welcomed the visit, with many expressing their appreciation for the encouragement and support from the District Chief Executive and his team. The headmaster described the DCE’s presence as a morale booster for the candidates, particularly at such a crucial stage in their academic journey.

The exercise forms part of the District Assembly’s broader agenda to prioritize education and to inspire students to aim higher in their academic pursuits. Hon. Marfo reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that the youth of Amansie South receive the support and opportunities they need to excel in their studies and become productive citizens.
