As part of effort to support His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, to heal Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital from its current poor state, a Non-profitable organization known as Unlimited Cancer care International has supported Oncology department with fiscal cash of gh¢50,000.
The leadership of the organization took opportunity to visited breast Cancer unit and Oncology department to families themselves with the current challenges confronting the two department.
Speaking during the presentation, the chief executive of Unlimited Cancer Care International,Mrs Agivert Jackson and Madam Zakiyyah Backman declared their commitment to support Otumfuo’s initiative to renovate the hospital.
On his part, The director of health services of Oncology department, Dr Frank Mensah, also expressed gratitude to the organization for the support and said that, management are putting measures to replaced fault Cancer radiation machine to support the unit.
