Police in the northern district of Nabilatuk, has arrested a Headteacher at Lolachat Seed Secondary School, in Lolachat sub-county in Nabilatuk, for defiling and impregnating his 15-year-old, sister-in-law, a pupil of Lolachat Primary School. Sources say that the suspect, identified as Huhya Lazarus, a 45-year-old, Headteacher started defiling the victim during the month of July, 2022, and forced her to terminate his pregnancy. This is after his wife, Loitakori Margret, left the victim to stay with him, while attending her Primary School.
Fred Enanga the Police spokesperson says Huhya ‘s forty days of a thief came to an end after he gave his victim Ugx 200,000/=, to aid abortion. Locals allege that the victim confided in her friends about her situation who later spread word in the community until the LC got wind of it.
The suspect was arrested on charges of aggravated defilement. Headteacher defiles 15 year old in-law Meanwhile, police in Lira has netted a 72- year- old LC chairperson for defiling a 17-year-old girl in the community. The suspect is Ogwang Martin Luther, the LCI of Blue Corner South, Lira City West and a respected grandfather in his community. Locals claim that the suspect had a long secret love affair with his victim where he would entice her with small gifts under mango trees where they would meet at odd hours. They further claim that people got suspicious when the two were spotted cuddling. Police says the suspect was arrested on September 26, 2022, on charges of aggravated defilement after he was nabbed red-handed.
