At the Sod- cutting ceremony for the construction of Sports infrastructure for Hosting an Organizing the 13th African Games Accra 2023, the First Gentleman of the land Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo acknowledged the hard work of the Former Youth and Sports Minister, Hon Isaac Kwame Asiamah MP for Atwima Mponua Constituency for bringing the tournament to Ghana for the first time in the history of Ghana.
The President in his speech at the event which was held at Borteyman said this has been possible for the excellent work done by the Ministry under the leadership of the former Minister Hon Isaac Kwame Asiamah.
Although, we were part of the thirty countries that participated in the first All-African Tournament held in 1965 in Brazzavile capital of the republic of Congo, but we’ve never had the opportunity to host the games.
We say Ayekoo to Hon Isaac Kwame Asiamah for making the people of Atwima Mponua Constituency and Ghana proud.
Ayekoo to the Global award winner who has been touted as the best Youth and Sports Minister since fourth republic.
