GNSFCA Wants Increments in Feeding From ¢1 to ¢1.50 not per What Some Scrupulous association Calling for ¢3

The Ghana National School Feeding Caterers Association has call on government for an increments from ¢1 to ¢1.50 but not ¢3 per what some scrupulous association are saying.

Speaking at a news conference held in Accra, the public relations officer of the Ghana National School Feeding caterers association, Mrs.Caroline Ewusi said that they encourage the hardworking Hon Minister to in a lot more efforts to make sure that the second term payment is paid on time.

According to her, there is only one caterers association registered at the registrar general department, recognised by the ministry and national secretariat and that is Ghana National School Feeding Caterers Association (GNSFCA).

“We plead with caterers across the country to be cautious about people carrying themselves as an association and taking monies from them.We also advice caterers to work hand in hand with the desk officers from the various MMDAs and the zonal coordinators at the various zone to ensure that, their data are submitted on time to ensure smooth transition” she lamented.

The role and intervention from the minister in dealing with the walfare of caterers is an inspiration to all of us.This posture has instilled hope in us.We acknowledge the smooth running of the current payment despite the few challenges with mismatch, faulty E-Witch and nonpayment of the western and western north regions of which they are hopeful that it will be resolved soon.

The association cannot overlook the tremendous contributions by the national secretariat led by the national coordinator Dr.Mrs.Gertrude Quarshie, in fact, having two mother’s in the helm of affairs of the caterers is fulling. The technical support from the chief director of the ministry Dr.Afisah Zakariah was also very pivotal in the above success.
