It was a distinct honor to chair two pivotal meetings yesterday at the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre — the 3rd High‑Level Meeting and the Governing Board Meeting — on behalf of the Acting Minister, Cassiel Ato Forson.

The engagements were open, frank, and highly productive. I expressed gratitude to our international partners for their continued support of the Centre and reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to critically review central funding support to strengthen its operations. I also commended Air Vice Marshal David Akrong and the management team for their proactive measures to ensure the Centre’s sustainability and excellence.

These discussions underscore Ghana’s dedication to peacekeeping excellence and its resolve to maintain the Centre as a premier hub for regional and global security cooperation.
