The Ghana Education Service (GES) has begun investigations into a viral video on social media involving some Chiana Senior High School students openly insulting President Nana Akufo-Addo.
In a statement released on Monday (14 November), the GES described the act as “unfortunate”, adding that it is “against every educational and moral principle of our society.”
The second-year students, the statement said, used vulgar and unprintable words on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
The management of GES has rendered an apology to the President and the general public on behalf of the students as investigation into the case continues.
