Earlier today, the Director-General of the Ghana Education Service (GES), Prof. Ernest Kofi Davis, convened a Special Management Meeting to review the strategic priorities of the Service and assess key developments within the education sector.

The meeting provided a platform for each Directorate to present its strategic action plan for the year, outlining targeted interventions, programme innovations, and measurable outcomes aimed at improving learning conditions and educational delivery for Ghanaian schoolchildren.

Deliberations also focused on critical sector developments, ongoing reforms, and emerging challenges that require coordinated leadership responses. Management reaffirmed its collective commitment to strengthening accountability, enhancing service delivery, and ensuring that policies translate into tangible impact at the school level.

Prof. Davis emphasised the importance of alignment across Directorates, data-driven decision-making, and sustained stakeholder engagement as the Service advances its mandate to deliver equitable, inclusive, and quality education for every child in Ghana.

Further updates on the implementation of the approved strategic initiatives will be communicated in due course.
