The Ghana Education Service (GES) in the Atwima Kwanwoma District on Thursday held an emotional and dignified send-off ceremony in honour of its outgoing District Director of Education, Ms. Doris Ofori. The event, which took place at the Afua Kobi Ampem Senior High School, drew together a distinguished gathering of education officials, traditional leaders, heads of institutions, teachers, Assembly representatives, and community stakeholders who came to celebrate the remarkable service of the outgoing Director.

In a tribute-filled address, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Atwima Kwanwoma, Hon. Hon. Asamoah highlighted that under Ms. Ofori’s leadership, the Atwima Kwanwoma District recorded notable progress in academic performance, especially in the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE). She attributed these gains to Ms. Ofori’s insistence on discipline, punctuality, professional conduct among teachers, and her open-door leadership style that encouraged partnership and collaboration.
