A female farm labourer was discovered dead in Assin Praso, Central Region.
Esi Gegiw, 49, has been identified as the woman.
The incident is said to have happened at 4:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
The victim’s head was severed, and her throat was slashed.
Her killers also removed other vital parts from her body.
Police from the surrounding area have arrived at the scene to transport the body to the mortuary.
Residents have described the incident as unfortunate and bloody, and have asked the Police to investigate and bring the perpetrators to justice.
