Fankyerebra Hospital Offers free Eye Screening and Awareness To Residents

administrator, Mr George Gyamerah Mensah has organised a free eye and lens medical screening exercise to Communities within the institution jurisdiction.

The beneficial communities includes Fankyerebra, TUC, Odeneho Adebaba in Nhyiaso Constituency of the Ashanti region benefited from the gesture.

The activity according to the administrator, aimed at improving the health status of the people in the area.

The health screening allowed people of the area to know their health status on eye , sugar level, blood pressure, Hepatitis B, Malaria and other related health issues.

Mr George Gyamerah Mensah explained that, many people in the area sometime found it difficult to go for medical checkups, hence, it is another factor the hospital considered for embarking such screening.

He reaffirmed his desire to continue to give back to his people with the little opportunity that comes his way.

The administrator stressed that he would not only be organising free health screening but will also offer them with free health insurance cards drugs. Added that those diagnosed with complicated diseases would be assisted to get quality medical care at referral hospitals.

He advised them to undergo regular medical checkups to know their health conditions to prevent them from future illness.

He also entreated NGOs to come to their aid to support their foundation so that they can used to help others in the community.

However,some beneficiaries commended the hospital for humanitarian service granted to the residents in the communities.
