A Family of three have been washed away following hours of rains at Kasoa and its environment in the Awutu Senya East District of the Central Region.
Report gathered by Kasapa News, Yaw Boagyan revealed that a woman and her two Children, aged nine and five years were running from their room which was being filled by rain water but unfortunately washed away just after stepping out from the flooded room.
Their bodies are yet to be located and retrieved.
The downpour which occurred on Wednesday June 21, 2023 throughout the day has also rendered over thousand Residents homeless and Properties destroyed.
There was also flooding in parts of Assin South District which caused havoc.
The affected residents blamed estate developers for blocking the paths of running water which causes flooding.
