Family of officer who got burnt with wife and baby to observe a week celebration on Jan. 31

A one week celebration will be held for the police officer who died with his wife and three month old baby in the Kumasi fire Monday.

The family has scheduled January 31, 2023 for the celebration at Asante Akyem Adomfe in the Ashanti region between 6am and 6pm.

Seargeant Owusu Asante Barfi, 35, got burnt with his wife, Millicent Adjei, 30, and their 3-month-old baby after their apartment caught fire.

The family whose residence was on the top floor where the fire started could not escape due to the burglar proof windows and doors after neighbours tried rescuing them.
