Ejisu MP donates uniforms, educational materials to schools on ‘My first day at school’

 

The Member of Parliament for Ejisu  Constituency, Hon Lawyer John Ampontuah Kumah on Tuesday January 19, 2021 donated uniforms and Educational materials to Ejisu municipal Education Directorate  on ‘My first first day at school.

The items are meant to facilitate effective teaching and learning among pupils in the beneficiary schools.

The donation comes in handy to motivate the school children to attend school regularly and also learn hard.The donation comes in handy to motivate the school children to attend school regularly and also learn hard.

The beneficiary schools were; Ejisu Experimental School,Besease Primary &JHS, Manhyia M/A Primary School, Donaso M/A primary school and others.

In all, One Hundred  and seventeen  (117) school children benefited from the gesture.

In addition to the one thousand and Twenty  (1,200) school uniforms ,pencils, exercise books, and others  was donated to each school, accompanied by erasers, crayons to aid them in teaching and learning.

Speaking to the excited school children, the MP, Hon Lawyer John Kumah reiterated government’s commitment to ensuring quality education for all children of school going age.

He thanked the teachers for trying their best to impart knowledge in the children to become great leaders and urged them to do more.

He has therefore advised the pupils to take their studies seriously since they were the primarily future leaders of the country.

The MP who has education at his heart, encouraged the children to be disciplined in order to become great personalities in the society .

He pleaded with the pupils to make good use of the items to achieve their intended purpose.He pledged his readiness to commit more resources in providing facilities to ensure quality education for children for the sake of our nation’s development.

The MP seized the opportunity to inspire authorities in the schools and promised to liaise with the Education Directorate to improve educational facilities and performance of pupils in the area.

However the Ejisu municipal Director of Education Mrs Achiaa Asiedu Amoah thanked the MP for the unflinching support given to the Education Directorate to improve  performance of pupils in the area.
