Hon. George Kwame Aboagye aka ‘OLUWAA’, Asene Manso Akroso Member of Parliament has presented three brand new Motorbikes to three police stations in the constituency to enable the effective movement of the police.
Speaking to Isaac Ofori after the presentation he noted, “most at times when the police needs to send emergency docket to the division,due to lack of vehicle they have to go by trotro and at times it delays therefore he thought it wise to present these three motorbikes to the three police stations in the district so that their movement and checking crime will be a little easy for them”.
He added that due to non availability of certain things in the district, personnel finds it difficult to go about with their normal duties.
Oda Divisional Commander ACP Rev. Dr Andani Ameyaw, who received the motorbikes on behalf of the police, thanked the MP for his kind gesture.
He called on Ghanaians to help the police in providing security to all as Government alone cannot take up that challenge.
He therefore, urged those who will be using the motorbikes to take good care of them so that it can last longer to achieve the intended purpose.
