E/R: JHS Graduate Hospitalised After Pastor Burnt His Palm And Fingers ‘Spiritually’ Over Ghc600 Missing Money

Right palm and fingers of a 17-year old boy is has been burnt ‘spiritually’ after a self acclaimed pastor forced him (victim) to put it inside a fire set out with anointing oil at Adansi in the Ashanti region.

The victim (name witheld) had been accused been accused of stealing Ghc600 by his uncle’s wife.

Mother of the victim, Madam Emelia Adutwumwaa in an interview with Kwabena Nyarko Abronoma is seeking for financial support for her son, who is currently at the Oda Government hospital of the Eastern region receiving treatment.

Explaining the incidence, the mother revealed his son (victim) experienced that his palm and fingers are burnt a day after the incident and has since been getting worse.

She complained that the victim had gotten admission to Senior High School but has not been able to report to school due to his current situation.

“My son (victim) has completed JHS but because of his current situation he has not been able to report. I have even used all the money saved to foot the cost of prospectus”.

“I need to buy drugs to dress his wound everyday and that is a major problem to me. I am currently depending on little support from family members but it is not enough so we actually needs the public support” Madam Adutwumwaa narrated.

She added “Even if he get healed, he is already deformed so we are seeking for justice for my son”.

The mother again said both the pastor and the woman have failed to support to cater for the victim despite earlier directive by the police when the case was reported.

“As for the police, I don’t know what they are doing. Because the matter was reported to them and they ordered the suspects to ensure they take care of the treatment of my son but nothing came up”, she added.

Madam Emelia Adutwumwaa is therefore calling on the Inspector General of Police and other stakeholders to help seek justice for her son.

Meanwhile, attempts to reach the self acclaimed pastor at the time of filing the report has Yielded no results.
