Following the NEC decision by the ruling New Patriotic Party to open nomination to pave way for qualified people who are interested to stand in for the party parliamentary race ahead of the upcoming general election,
Dr Emmanuel Yaw Adu Amankay,An Aspiring Member of Parliament (MP) for Oforikrom Constituency in the Ashanti Region, has filed his nomination form today to contest the NPP Parliamentary primaries slated for April,25/2020.
It was an atmosphere of enjoyment singing and dancing ceremony by the delegates describing the event as historical mood since this is the time that their political Messiah had been revealed to save them from incumbent Member of Parliament.
A crowd of young people kept the at the atmosphere electrified with jubilation, as they accompanied the candidate to the constituency party office at oforikrom where he did the filing.
Presenting his speech to some of the delegates of Oforikrom constituency, Dr Emmanuel Yaw Adu Amankay indicated that he has been enthused about the support been given to him by the decision makers of the party which he promised to deliver to their expectations. He also noted that, bring businesses to enhance employment in the constituency is his first priority and moreover tackle the health sector of the area where he will create enabling environment for all the health professionals who will be posted to the constituency to offer their duties.
Speaking to newsmen in a joyful mood calls for outmost unity in the party caution his campaign team, well wishes and sympathizers to run a decent campaign devoid of insult and other personal attacks.

Dr Emmanuel Yaw Adu Amankay stated that grassroot of the party is very very important especially the delegates who are the first people to chose a leader for our party will be given more attention to some of their concerns so we can raise helping hands for them.
