The Ashanti Regional Minister, Frank Amoakohene, has lauded Jonathan Ebo Quaye for his unwavering commitment to promoting faith, discipline and moral uprightness among young people through literature.
The commendation came during the official launch of two inspirational books authored by Pastor Quaye at the PENSA Auditorium of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi. The event brought together students, religious leaders, academics and members of the public to witness the unveiling of Classy but Decent: Lessons for Young People and Silencing Audio Porn: Guarding Your Mind Against Degrading Music.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Amoakohene described the publications as timely and impactful interventions aimed at confronting the moral and social challenges facing today’s youth. He emphasized that in an era marked by rapid technological advancement and evolving cultural influences, deliberate efforts must be made to guide young minds toward responsible decision-making and value-driven living.
According to the Regional Minister, the cultivation of strong character and faith-based principles remains fundamental to personal success and national development. He noted that beyond academic achievements, the true measure of leadership lies in integrity, discipline and the ability to uphold ethical standards. He therefore commended Pastor Quaye for using the power of literature as a platform to mentor and inspire the next generation.

Dr. Amoakohene further stressed the importance of guarding the mind against harmful influences, particularly through music and digital media, which he said have a profound impact on attitudes and behaviour. He encouraged young people to be intentional about the content they consume and to embrace teachings that promote self-respect, modesty and excellence.
As a demonstration of his support for the initiative, the Minister purchased several copies of the books for distribution to students present at the ceremony. He described the gesture as an investment in the intellectual and moral growth of the youth, reaffirming his belief that empowering young people with the right knowledge and values is essential for building a responsible and visionary society.

Pastor Jonathan Ebo Quaye expressed appreciation to Dr. Amoakohene for his encouragement and support, stating that his mission is to equip young people with practical lessons grounded in faith and sound moral principles. He urged students to cultivate disciplined lifestyles and remain steadfast in their pursuit of purpose and integrity.

The event concluded on a note of renewed commitment among participants to prioritize character formation and mentorship as indispensable pillars for sustainable development. The book launch not only celebrated literary achievement but also reinforced the shared responsibility of shaping a morally upright and resilient generation.
