DO REGULAR SCREENING CHECK UP TO PREVENT CERVICAL CANCER PUBLIC HEALTH NURSE MAD JUDITH AKUA HACKMAN

A Public Health Nurse at Abrankese Nyameani Methodist Medical center Madam Akua Hackman has advised general public especially women’s to do regular screening and check ups on their health to seek early treatment.

Speaking during a health talk on cervical cancer organised by the church of Pentecost Woman Ministry Bosomtwe District at Abrankese Nyameani, said the most important thing you can do to help prevent cervical cancer is to do screening test and regular check up.

Madam Judith said it’s the need for women’s be more concern when they detect this signs, ; painful sexual intercourse, unusual discharge, pain in the pelvic region and complications in bowel movement.

Mrs Esther Honny Sofomaame the church of Pentecost Bosomtwe District reveal that the woman ministry in church of Pentecost decided to share the health talk with the Nyameani community, she said nowadays cervical cancer is the major challenge facing women.
