Divine Key Believers Network International and Prince Hampel World Outreach Honour Rev. Naana Hayford, Madam Felicia Danquah, Prophet Peter Amankwah, Chiefs, and Other Distinguished Personalities

The Divine Key Believers Network International, in partnership with Prince Hampel World Outreach (UK) and Divine World International Ministries (UK), has honoured 24 distinguished personalities, including traditional rulers, clergy, media icons, and entrepreneurs, at the prestigious Ayekoo Heroes Awards and Honorary Doctorate of Divinity Celebration. The event recognised exceptional individuals who have demonstrated excellence, integrity, leadership, and unwavering commitment to national development.
Among the 24 honourees were renowned journalist Rev. Naana Hayford, Madam Felicia Danquah of Jofel Catering Services, and Prophet Peter Amankwah of Blessing House Pentecostal Ministry, who were celebrated for their remarkable contributions to national advancement in their respective fields. The recognition of chiefs and traditional leaders further underscored the organisers’ dedication to honouring both contemporary and customary leadership structures that play significant roles in community development.

The grand ceremony brought together clergy, traditional authorities, media professionals, entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and social development advocates. According to organisers, the awards aim to highlight individuals who uphold integrity and inspire positive transformation within their communities and beyond.

Rev. Naana Hayford, a respected veteran in journalism, broadcasting, and the Ghanaian film industry, received one of the most prominent honours of the night. Delivering a powerful speech, she urged journalists across the country to uphold the core values of truth, honesty, and professionalism. She emphasised that credibility forms the foundation of journalism, and no practitioner can truly excel without a firm commitment to the truth.

“If it even comes to life and death, speak the truth,” she declared, encouraging media practitioners to depend on God for guidance and to carry out their duties with humility, discipline, and a clear conscience. She reminded journalists that the media remains a critical pillar of national development and must operate with integrity to sustain public trust.

Madam Felicia Danquah, Vice President of Jofel Catering Services, was celebrated for her contributions to entrepreneurship, women empowerment, and youth development. Addressing the audience, she expressed deep concern about the growing trend of young people seeking quick and unearned wealth. She urged the youth to embrace hard work, discipline, patience, and determination—values she described as the true foundations of sustainable success.

She further appealed to parents to pay close attention to the company their children keep, noting that peer influence has become a major cause of negative behaviour among the youth. She stressed that responsible parenting, guidance, and mentorship are essential for building a disciplined and purposeful future generation.

Prophet Peter Amankwah, Head Pastor of Blessing House Pentecostal Ministry at Gyenase–Kumasi, was also honoured for his impactful ministry and contributions to community service. Expressing heartfelt gratitude, he described the recognition as a motivation to continue serving God and humanity with greater zeal.

In his address, he called on pastors to lead Christlike lives and avoid practices that bring disrepute to the Christian ministry. He expressed concern over the increasing number of young pastors using unethical means, including extortion and false prophecies, in their pursuit of wealth. According to him, such behaviours tarnish the image of the church. He reminded clergy that true reward comes from God, not material gain, and urged them to remain faithful to their calling.

Organisers of the Ayekoo Heroes Awards reiterated that honouring 24 diverse personalities, including chiefs, aligns with their mission to celebrate excellence across all sectors—traditional leadership, ministry, media, business, humanitarian work, and social transformation. They emphasised their commitment to promoting values that uplift society, strengthen morality, and inspire national progress.

The colourful and emotional event concluded with a renewed call for discipline, integrity, unity, and ethical leadership. Organisers and participants alike praised the honourees not only for their achievements but also for the inspirational messages they delivered—messages that deeply resonated with the audience and reflected the true purpose of the awards.
