The office of the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Jaman North, Hon. Solomon Owusu wishes to clarify that no invitation has been extended to any chief in Sampa on this year’s Independence Day celebration as being speculated by some group of people on Tiktok and other social media platforms to justify that the DCE has taken side in the ongoing Chieftaincy Impasse in Sampa.
The Committee have not sent out any invitation letter to any individual or group of people or the dignitaries mentioned in the said video.
There is no shred of evidence in the information circulated by one Mama Kaakyire fm and that People should disregard it and treat it with the contempt that it deserves. I least expected such a statement from her.
I do not have any other interest in the Sampa Chieftaincy issue apart from maintaining peace and order and to Protect lives and property.
Any claims or rumors suggesting otherwise are false and should be disregarded. We urge the public to rely only on official communications from our office regarding such matters.
