Diplomats, Ministers Join Hon. Grace Agyemang Asamoah at 10th Italian Cuisine Week Celebration in Accra

The 10th edition of the Italian Cuisine Week in the World was marked with elegance, cultural richness, and high-level diplomatic presence as Hon. Grace Agyemang Asamoah, District Chief Executive (DCE) for Atwima Kwanwoma in the Ashanti Region, joined ambassadors, ministers, and international dignitaries at the Italian Ambassador’s residence in Accra last Wednesday.

The event, hosted by the Ambassador of Italy to Ghana, H.E. Laura Ranalli, together with the Italian Trade Commissioner, Mr. Luigi Puca, served as a significant cultural and diplomatic platform designed to celebrate Italy’s globally acclaimed culinary heritage. This year’s edition, the 10th since its inception, was held at the Ambassador’s residence on Drake Avenue Close, Airport Residential Area, drawing an impressive gathering of influential personalities.

 

Hon. Grace Agyemang Asamoah’s invitation to the event was a testament to her rising reputation as one of the most affable and forward-thinking local government leaders of her time. Her participation highlighted her commitment to engaging international partners and leveraging global networks in ways that can open new doors of development for the Atwima Kwanwoma District.

 

She was joined by key government officials, including the Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, and the Minister of Education, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu. Italian Cuisine Week in the World is an annual celebration observed across several countries to promote Italy’s rich gastronomic culture, deepen cultural exchange, and strengthen bilateral relations. The 10th edition placed particular emphasis on sustainability, innovation, and the global promotion of Italian culinary identity.

Guests were treated to an exquisite array of authentic Italian dishes prepared by renowned chefs, alongside opportunities for cultural interaction and networking.
