DCE visits 4 schools in Atwima Mponua District to mark My first day at school.

 

On Tuesday, 19th January, 2021 the district chief executive of Atwima Mponua district has visits four (4) schools to mark my first day at school.

My First Day at School” which marks the reopening of schools’ academic year saw the DCE, Hon Williams Darko, the DCE, officials of the Atwima Mponua District Assembly and the District Directorate of the Ghana Education Service led by the Madam Floria Comfort Kyei in charge of SHEP/ECD coordinator visiting public schools in the district to mark the day

The DCE distributed PPEs, soft drinks, biscuits, books etc in welcoming fresh pupils to Kindergarten and class one.

His first point of call was the Abaasua D/A primary school, where he encouraged them to take their lesson serious and also advised them to adhere COVID-19 protocols. 

Interacting with the students in one of the schools. The Atwima Mponua District which educational directorate comprises of (14) educational circuits.  Interact with the pupils who had enrolled to begin schooling and to distribute goodies to them to remember their first day at school

The DCE added that the government had provided the needed safety PPEs like Veronica buckets, tissue, soaps, sanitizers to combat a deadly diseases.

Honorable Williams Darko was accompanied by the Npp Constituency women Organiser, Joyce Ellen Amoah, Npp youth Organiser, Abdul Moro, Anokye Frimpong Augestin,  Constituency Treasurer, Nasara coordinator, Fuseini Mumuni Mohammed and Honorable Charles Dwumfour the Presiding member of Atwima Mponua District Assembly.
