The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Ahafo Ano South West, Hon. Abubakar Sedik, has extended his goodwill message to the representatives of Mankranso Senior High School as they prepare to compete in the quarter-final stage of this year’s National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ).
Mankranso SHS is set to face Ghana National College and St. Thomas Aquinas SHS on Thursday, October 30, 2025, in what promises to be a thrilling contest.
In his message, Hon. Abubakar Sedik commended the students for their outstanding performance so far, which has brought pride and recognition to the Ahafo Ano South West District. He encouraged them to remain focused, confident, and determined as they take on the next challenge.
“I am extremely proud of the brilliant performance of our students from Mankranso SHS. You have already made the district proud, and I urge you to give your best as you aim for the semi-final and the ultimate prize,” the DCE said.
Hon. Sedik further assured the students and their coaches of his continuous support, promising a special package should they progress to the semi-final stage and eventually to the grand finale.
He called on residents of the district, old students, and stakeholders in education to rally behind the school and offer the moral support needed to inspire the contestants.
Mankranso SHS’s impressive run in the competition has been widely celebrated in the district, as this marks one of their strongest showings in the prestigious national contest.
