Households along the Volta lake and parts of Dambai market, including shops have been submerged by flood waters.

Jacob Desiavor of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) called on residents to adhere to flood alerts in the future.

He, however, urged residents to move their valuable items to higher grounds for safety, adding that the government is taking care of those whose houses have been submerged
