Create additional constituency to spread development in Jaman north, Concerned Jaman north Youth to Govt.

A group calling itself the Concerned Youth for Development, in the Jaman north district of the Bono region are advocating for the creation of another Constituency to supplement the existing Jaman north constituency.

According to the Concerned Youth for Development, the Jaman north district has a lot of communities which are scattered which since it’s over 20 years ago during president John Agyekum Kufour , most of the communities have been denied the key and the needed developmental projects which every community within must have.

The Youth argued that, Jaman north district has the pure Bono language speaking and Nfantra language but in terms of development most of the communities and villages lacks the needed developments .

As a Concerned Youth of Development for Jaman north, we that the creation of another constituency in the district will solve the problem of development which is affecting the progress of most of the communities because one member of parliament cannot pay particular attention to all the scattered communities within the district.

It is obvious that every member of parliament must lobby for development to his / her constituency for the assemblies to execute it but it becomes difficult for legislatures to tackle and address developmental issues when their communities are many and scattered.

Based upon this we as Concerned Youth for Development in the Jaman north district, are appealing to the government through the Local Government, Rural Development ministry and the Electoral Commission of Ghana, to consider their humble appeal so that communities which have over the years been lacking the needed developmental projects will be addressed.
