The Member of Parliament (MP) for Bosome Freho Constituency Hon Joyce Adwoah Akoh Dei has presented items worth millions of Ghana Cedis to her Constituents at NSUTA ZONE to support the fight against the spread of Coronavirus pandemic.
The items included; alcoholic-based hand, liquid soaps, hand gloves, nose marks, Veronica buckets with stands, washing bowls, gun thermometer, tissue papers and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) to help prevent the outbreak and spread of COVID-19 in the Constituency
The donation was made in phases which mainly focused on
Health centers,polling stations various zones within her Constituency
support to curtail the spread of coronavirus pandemic in the constituency.
She urged the community members to observe the handwashing protocols and social distancing.
To this end, the MP pledged her readiness to spend more to support COVID-19 fight and advised the constituents to strictly adhere to all precautionary measures against the pandemic.
Received the donation on behalf of the nsuta zone,the polling station executives expressed their gratitude to the MP for her support.
They said the zone will instituted measures to prevent the spread of the disease by educating community members on the need for social distancing and avoiding crowds while every household was tasked to provide tippy taps in their various homes to ensure frequent hand washing.
They promised to use the items to protect the people living in the community and and also control and stop the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.
