The waiting period is over now. The President has put forward the list of nominees who will help him execute his mandate in the various Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs). In our part of the country, the mandate has fallen on the shoulders of Hon. Michael Awuku Amoah once again. I will like to send my wholehearted congratulations to him on my own behalf and on behalf of all the good people of Nkawie Panin Electoral Area.

I will also appeal to all of us to rally behind him in bringing development to our community. Whatever grievances or acrimony we’ve encountered in the past, it is time to rise above these squabbles and team up to provide the best leadership our people deserve.
I will also urge all our Assembly Members who have already worked with Hon. Awuku Amoah in the past five years to come together and approve his nomination to the office so we can commence work expeditiously.
Finally I will encourage Hon. Awuku to reach out to all stakeholders in the Assembly and our great Party to stay united and together.
